A 1-part retaining compound with very high shear strength. Ideal for bonding cylindrical parts such as bearings, bushings and sleeves in housings or on shafts. Prevents loosening and leakage due to shock and vibration.
When you need a liquid, 1-part, medium-viscosity retaining compound with very high-strength, LOCTITE® 635 is a good choice. Designed for bonding cylindrical fitting parts, this green adhesive fills the inner space between components and cures in the absence of air to form a strong, unitised assembly. Once cured, you can expect high shear strength with maximum load transmission capability and uniform stress distribution. LOCTITE 635 is perfect for rotor-to-shafts in fractional and sub-fractional horsepower motors, locking bushings and sleeves in housings on shafts, and augmenting press fits. Also used for Mil-R-46082 military specification-related applications.
